Josh {my love, my bestest friend, my lover, the person i can’t wait to see after i’ve already seen you, the person i always want to kiss & cuddle with, and be oh so silly}. I could not find the right words to write this very post today. Blame it on my brain being pulled in all different directions all week. But I just wanted to write this post anyways. You are everything I’ve always wanted and more. To this day, I still can’t believe you still want to hang out with me. And that you put up with me… I love that you’re so very sweet, patient, and have the biggest heart. And in all of this, you’re soo humble. Thanks for not giving up on me. I can’t wait to have another 6 years with you! Thanks for being my ‘saving grace.’ I love you, Darling!! And to all who read this, I’m so sorry this is soo sappy.

1:: i have music on all the time when i'm alone. i hate complete silence.

2:: i love driving...i could drive for hours to no where. i don't know, i guess i like wasting gas.

3:: i can drive a stick shift and well, i like it 'cos i get bored driving. you're laughing you say..

4:: i've been working since I was 14...i like to stay busy.

5:: my rheumatologist has told me i'm extremely resilient....i don't feel like it.

6:: i was robbed @ gun point @ 18 {he had the gun to my back} when i worked at movie gallery. to this day i forget it happened unless someone reminds me. funny thing is, i thought it was a prank, so i kind of ticked the robber off a lot. i'm shocked i didn't get myself shot. and i kept working there for another year 'cos i liked my co-workers, manager, and job so much. it's now shut down is a japanese hibachi. lol.

7:: i struggled with depression as a kid & a teenager. my doctors didn't think i was and told me i just needed to go to hawaii. oh well. and well, i am really happy now.

8:: as a teenager, i rebelled in my own ways. to other people, it's probably not what you would exactly call rebellious behavior. but for me, i'm still trying to figure things out.

9:: my husband tells me i'm an extremely deep thinker. and well, he's right...i'm a really confused girl trying to figure things out.

10:: i hate churches {this will probably be misconstrued, which is fine}.

11:: i really love my husband.. he's the best husband in the whole wide world {and there will be people who will disagree with me on this, but it's just really not going to work}.

12:: i don't know what to put for this one. :(

13:: i get bored really easily.. i think i drive my hubby crazy.

14:: i love cleaning, washing the dishes, doing the laundry, and cleaning the bathroom...hehe, i'm just trying to see if you're still awake...lol.

15:: i hate being asian. i wish i had dark hair {i got the dark hair} and dark blue or dark green eyes.

16:: i love being married young...i'd marry josh all over again...i just might do that.

17:: i have a thing for piercings {not the weird ones}. i had 6. now i have 5. i miss the other one.

18:: i get criticized for everything!

19:: i love cooking with wine...it makes everything zingy. lol.

20:: i'm kind of a daredevil. but @ the same time i'm not.

21:: i like drinking everything in all different types of wine glasses. it started when i was little. my grandma let me use her pretty wine glasses to drink milk every time i would go over.

22:: i really like it when people just get to the point.

23:: my life has been sucky for awhile....so i'm kind of happy about it getting better. yay!!

24:: writing 25 things about yourself is really a tough one.

25:: my brain is tired after writing all of these. lol.

i just saw a tweet about this. i remember when i was a teenager i wanted to be a forensic photographer??? what was i thinking??? i guess i'm a pretty dark/morbid girl. i was also a tomboy {i wanted to run around with the boys and get dirty}....{not much has changed} and everyone is shocked about that....i guess i must of turned into a girl along the way. haha. i'm kind of proud. :)

i also remember when i was 11, i used to take my not so little brother {he is 17 now and taller than me}. but when he was a baby i used to plop him up on blankets with his stuffed animals and put his baby blanket over his head....and take pictures of him. i still have one. now, if only i could find it.

where are you located??? I am located in Scranton. I don't have a studio. I am a traveling on location photographer. And I use all ambient light and some flash photography.

do you travel??
Yes!! My favourite... If I have to travel more than 1 1/2 hours, than a travel fee is required. But I'm available for travel worldwide!

so this is my desk before:: i was trying to find tape in the pile of mess and was so ashamed... so i cleaned it. the question is... will it last? the answer:: for like a couple of hours. haha. and in the process my hubby found the tape. yay!

so now that it's clean a little bit. i don't know where anything is. i'll have to mess it up again so i know. okay, so this is my life @ the moment... going to go finish up the laundry with my luv and run to target. and then go clean the bathroom.... isn't my life fun!? i know.. you're all jealous. :o)

I've always thought i was alone in this. but i'm slowly finding out that I'm not alone! a lot of people i'm starting to meet are going through this too... thought maybe this would be helpful to some people. not sure. when i was 18. i got blood work and skin tests done. test results had come back with 12 different types of food i was allergic to. my first allergist replied by saying, "i have never seen this before. wow." Which made me feel like a freak. And wheat being severe. and wheat is bread, pasta {yes, pasta is made from wheat..why does everyone ask me that? :) }.

Last year i got blood work {different type of blood work than when i was 18} and it has gone down to 6 different types of food on this panel. Two different types of food allergy testing. it's confusing. it came with a booklet....and it's really helpful. i tend to get frustrated grocery shopping. so it's not my favourite thing in the world. so the list in the booklet:: it's a lot. should i post it? along with a mostly organic diet. i should be the healthiest person ever. and so far this year, it has been my healthiest! and the winter has gone really well so far...soo well in fact. {i usually get extremely sick this time of year}

Vitamins are sooo important. These vitamins have helped improve my health more than I can ever say. I have more energy! Store vitamins didn't work for me. They just made me really sick. All vitamins are NOT alike. My body doesn't absorb the vitamins and minerals like everyone else... so I need these vitamins. Certain foods just go right through my system. Like for example, romaine lettuce. I get extreme stomach pains and it's like it never even digests. Not to gross you out. but that is one example. and my platelets are steady...i'm doing soooo well! food and vitamins seem to play a role in ITP {idiopathic or immune thrombocytopenic purpura} as well. i'm learning which foods seem to set off my ITP. So below are some helpful links and vitamins that I really love! that's all i got for right now.

The first time Mike met Melissa, it was at work. She was running between put-carts and asked him to please not hit her.

He immediately noticed her beautiful big blue eyes & quick wit. After accepting an invitation to come over and hang out with friends...

before he knew it, he was going over her house every night. Her intelligence, good cooking, and demeanor with his friends sold him on her!

Melissa says Mike offered her peanut butter smidgens and then fell for him when he readily discussed "the battle of the bulge" with her. In her eyes any man who would feed her chocolate and discuss history is worth holding on to!

Melissa & Michael's wedding was beautiful. I have never seen so many friends be there for a bride & groom as I saw with this one. It was lovely to see.

The bride also made her own desserts and her own wedding cake that is pictured in the slideshow.

They used bottles for vases that were dug up in the brides parent's backyard. The table numbers were 1800-1920s. Their wedding was 100% them. And the music the DJ played was a surprise.

You can tell that they loved every minute! And the photo on the left was actually a mistake....and it's one of my favorites!

They opted for the 'first look' which I have to say had us both tearing up. And one of their favorite songs is the one playing in the slideshow. Congratulations to you both!!

Have we gone digital? ipad has amazed us and is now the next thing everyone wants. Including brides, especially grooms, and high school seniors. As well as anyone else scheduling a photo session.

Would you think it would be fun to get your photo shoot, lifestyle session, wedding album, baby photo session with all your high resolution photos preloaded on a brand new engraved apple ipad? Also, now known as the ipad album. The options are to either get this in addition or instead of your wedding album or disc of images that comes with your packages. Or to buy the ipad album 'a la carte.

My husband can't get enough of the ipad. But, I'm actually with him! Because once you pick up an ipad, it's quite addicting, and you can take it anywhere, upload pictures to twitter, facebook, and myspace. And even back up your photos for later on a computer. Simple. Breathtaking, & FUN!

the roughness of them:: they were recorded with garageband one night just playing around. we didn't practice, just hit record, crossed our fingers, & hoped they would sound okay. no matter what, it was fun! :)

It's 5am! What have I been doing? Studying Physics. I have until the middle of August and I'm done! done. Finished for good. I can. not. wait! Physics isn't one of my strong points. So I put it for the last class in my A.S degree program.

And this is my third attempt because I dropped the other two due to teachers and I was just plain confused. So I'm crossing my fingers this time around. So far I'm doing okay... with A or B in my homework, C+ on my quizzes, and I got an A on my midterm {Yes, an A. I was shocked! I haven't gotten an A on an exam in a looong time}. I usually do the extra credit paper or extra credit work to bring my grades up! So It made my day to say the least.

It is the weekend and I am so glad, because that means I get two days off from doing homework and I get to see my guy, until Monday comes. The weekdays are harder to see each other. So I LOVE the weekends. But Ugh as far as physics. I just keep saying a couple more weeks. A couple more weeks... that is it!

This photoshoot was the easiest photoshoot ever with a baby! The most content baby I have ever been around. Just happy to lay in the grass and play with it. And a gorgeous mom! Wow... Can you believe she just had a baby a couple months ago? She looks amazing. Why can't all my baby photoshoots be this easy. Beautiful mom + happy baby. I want more models like these! :)

Josh & I couldn't afford to have the photographer we wanted when we got married so we decided to take some wedding photos. It was only the two of us. And it was complicated but we had a blast! {the camera was on a ten second timer. i ran into position. and wow are my legs sore!} Three hours later and we were done while stopping to get some italian ice to finish off the night. If you're wondering if this is my wedding dress. It is. Except I took apart its layers and made a new dress with it. :)

p.s :: josh took the pictures of me even though he didn't want me to put that on here. Because not that I am surprised, but the ones he took just happen to my favourites! and he wants everyone to see me as the photographer and not him. He wants to be my grip, but I like to refer to him as the second photographer. he's extremely creative and has an amazing eye.

My hubby LOVEs apple products. I used to have a mac {the old ones} all through high school and I hated them! I swore I would NEVER buy a Mac again.

My poor hubby has been trying to find one since they came out. And they have been sold out. Literally, EVERYWHERE! When we were in Baltimore, they had some, but by the time we got down there. They were also SOLD OUT! I couldn't believe it. I hadn't actually played around with it yet. Josh had though and he LOVEd it. So to make my iPad review short: My luv has not left the iPad's side since Saturday morning {when he drove an hour and half to go buy it... on three hours of sleep!}

He did this on his iPad. I thought it was incredibly CUTE!

Anyways, I will have a picture of it when he comes home from work... soon. I really like it too. I like how close everything is. It's like reading an actual book. So it's definitely not a bigger version of the iphone or ipod touch. It's way different and worth it. It's already doing numbers for this little photography business of ours. Promo demonstrations are amazing on here!

Here is a preview of a family session I did for Josh's friend from work! Josh & I had just gotten back from Baltimore @ 3:30am... I was SOOO tired! And hoping these would turn out okay and with no cropped off heads. Haha. We had so much fun, plus they made us dinner! And I got to drive around in a red MINI. I wound up falling asleep that night @ around 10:30pm. To whoever knows me, that is early for me! I normally go to sleep @ around 1 or 2am. I was beat. =)

So this was a fun weekend. I went and checked my email on Wednesday night and found out I had won a Sony blu-ray disc player. First I thought it wasn't real. Because I didn't remember entering a contest to win one. Turns out that I entered when I rented movies @ blockbuster express {those movie express rental places @ stores}.

The neat thing in all of this is I wanted to buy a blu-ray disc player for awhile and our old dvd player was going to die soon. So right before we were about to leave for Baltimore on Friday, it was on our front porch. Along with my vitamins {I don't know why I put that detail on here}. I was waiting on those vitamins for awhile! So it was a good day! Anyways, we got to watch a bunch of movies on it after we got back from Baltimore. And wow, it's cool!

Right before we were about to leave {to go out the front doors}. Josh Harris was leaning on the railing. We were hoping to get to say hi @ the bookstore. But it had been closed. It wouldn't open for another hour. Turns out, we got to have our own little "community group" with the author himself & he prayed for us. We left encouraged and he even gave us his book as a gift and left a note inside. And my husband gave him one of my business cards...he has been giving them out to everyone. 'Cos I won't do it. I don't know why. Anyways, Josh Harris liked my card. I couldn't believe it. What an amazing day & night! We seriously couldn't stop smiling on the way to our car. So Joshua Harris, if you happen to stop by sometime. Thank you SOO much! :]

Yesterday I did a senior photoshoot for Annie. She loves her camera as much as I do. She is also a photographer! Yay! She brought some of her music along and blasted it during her shoot. It was fun and Josh & I danced to it. Fun. Fun!

We decided to go to the zoo this weekend. It was fun. We're like little kids still. We have no kids, so we act like them. Haha. Here is what we saw. =)

He kept pacing back and forth. If you look @ the photo closer, it looks like he's pacing.

The camel was SOOO showing off. And he kept following us around the fence. So funny.

On February 12th, 2005 @ 11:45pm into February 13th, 2005..... Josh and I had been married for only two months. we wrote things on pieces of torn up paper and put them in a red and white box. Taped it up and wrote, "Don't open until February 13th, 2010" on the top. We opened it just last month and here is what we wrote on these tiny rectangular pieces of paper. Oh, and on some we didn't know what the other had written and we couldn't remember. And some were the same which we found really funny...like the no kids one in 5 years.

I finally narrowed it down to one album company. one canvas company. one professional lab. and float wraps. I love them. Josh picked out these funky blue glasses for our marketing month. I will have photo sessions in the next month or so. Warmer weather can't get here soon enough. I can't wait for spring. And I think we're taking a little trip to the pretty beach this weekend. I'm twenty six but everyone tells me I look eighteen. I have had the worst year in 2009. And I've been given grace I think, 'cos 2010 has been the best yet. I've realized that I have to learn to trust again. And I am slowly.... But since I found out through my adoption agency last year that my biological parents raised me for two years and gave me up. {they were not married. so yes, i'm an out of wedlock baby. haha. and everyone is shocked. i think it's funny, actually. so don't knock them down.} Found out my life was one big lie and then found out that I have a biological brother who is twenty two. Had family reject us on both sides including friends I've known for years. I'm in a daze of my life.

I've learned no matter what you do or how much you think you know someone, anyone can let you down..and pretty hard. But Jesus will NOT. His grace and love has given me hope to dream. and dream again. More than I ever thought I could. but I've pretty much decided not to trust anyone anymore. So finding hope, grace, and love in the midst of all this chaos is extremely hard for me. I think the only person I trust the most is my husband. He has just been there for me. He believes in me & he loves me. I know he's just a guy. I know this...but I am a girl trying to find where I belong... hope. love. grace...in the midst of a chaotic life that is mine.

Here it goes...

1:: I love animals. I hug them and kiss them. And for some reason they love me.

1.5:: I was adopted from South Korea when I was two.

2:: My husband came over @ 11pm and we talked until 5am. He needed a date for a wedding. Seven weddings later... and we are here... Seven years later. =)

2.5:: I love the beach!!

3:: I love to bake! For no reason... see pics below other post.

4:: I love vintage type stuff...dishes...clothes...art...shoes..etc.

5:: I hate to cook and I do. But my hubby loves it. So it works out so well. =)

6:: I love polka dot tights....grey ones, purple... different colours.

7:: I love to dance around for no reason...even in the middle of target if a favourite song is on.

8:: I love going to the movies!

9:: I love all kinds of music.......depends on the day.

10:: I am messy... and so is my husband. Works out so well... Our apartment will be clean @ some point. And you don't want to see our car.... After YOUR photos are done being edited. We'll clean. ;)

10.5:: To impress me when I came over for the first time, Josh cleaned his room by throwing everything behind his futon. I saw it though...because my coat fell behind it. And I smiled... I thought it was incredibly cute how hard he worked to clean his room just for me. =)

11:: We live in a one bedroom studio apartment. And we LOVE it!

12:: We are landlords to two tenants....but don't want to be. Funny. So yes, we own a side by side duplex. And no one believes us 'cos we look so young.

13:: We have been married for five and a half years.

14:: We love peanut butter...we could live on it.

15:: Josh & I both want to grow our love for Jesus. He's everything we are striving for.

16:: I used to hate the iphone and ipod touch until my husband made it so fun. I now own one. Who thought that would happen!? And yes, my husband is teasing me about it now.

17::I love the colours grey, green, brown, black, purple, and red.

18:: Josh and I are mac & apple people. Yeah, we hate you too.. just kidding... For what we do, it's just easier and better. However, i would really like to buy a Sony VAIO.

Want my full day of mess ups and getting back togethers?

When I started baking it was 10:30am. I ended..@ 4pm. I'm really really tired. More than tired. I shouldn't of done this much. But I always do this. I was in the baking zone and was having fun. So here is how the day started.

I mixed a huge bowl of the "eggless {vegan} chocolate cake" recipe together. I put them all in their cupcake and mini pans. And I realized I forgot to put in the vanilla and vinegar. The recipe is in a blog below somewhere. But I took the batch out of the oven and tasted a little piece {'cos I can't have sugar or wheat} and it was so bitter. So I tossed it out and started over.

Then proceeded to spill the chocolate all over the floor and the counter. While I was calling to Lacey {my dog} not to eat it off the floor 'cos she would get sick.

I got really tired around 2pm and wasn't going to make anymore and then decided to mix another huge bowl. I don't know why. Haha......

I really liked decorating them. And trying to create something with the icing. So here are all the pictures below. Now, Josh has to come home and sample them, 'cos I can't. Lucky him. =)

Then I made dinner....yikes. I'm going to fall asleep writing this blog post.

And I tried to attempt @ making the tier cake but the springform pans I bought didn't work and the batter started draining from the bottom. It was really funny. And all over the floor. =)

But I think I'm going to stick with the mini baking pans. =)

So Josh & I have this thing that when we buy each other gifts, we always return them. We feel bad that the other person spent too much for the other. But this year is different. We're both buying each other a laptop. Josh got his Macbook Air {along awaited two years} and I got my Macbook Pro {along awaited two years}. Of course to lesson the sting of the prices we bought them refurbished . "Preloved" & "less of the feeling bad" for buying each other something cool from Apple.

So I have wanted to forget so much about this time in my life. But Josh keeps telling me that I'm not that girl anymore {I still feel like her}.

But back to what I was talking about. I finally think I'm over it. I used to be the skinny girl with glasses {the last girl you want to be seen with, lol}. those were the awkward days. Not the proudest moment of my life. If I had gone to a public school you probably would of found me in the nearest corner taped to a wall, pushed in a locker, taped to a toilet like in "17 again." Or if you have ever seen "she's all that" I am so Laney. I've had friends tell me, "You are just like her." and I would just smile and not say anything because I wasn't quite sure about the "after" part of the movie... And Josh constantly keeps telling me that I'm not that girl anymore... I really love him for it. But I still feel like that "outcast skinny girl" who got teased on in school. The thing is, I got rid of my glasses and got contacts when I turned 14.. and I still got teased for everything! people can be awful. It's not nice.

And my husband lost his glasses in his early teens. Just the awkward days! I was going to post up pictures of us so you could see, but I have erased that part of my life from memory and I have no pictures in our apartment or storage unit to post. Oh well.

I came home from Las Vegas to a new work station! A new desk. I really love it...to Adobe Lightroom 2 and all my 20x24s, 11x14s, 8x10s, 5x7s, mounted with white styrene and wallet samples. It made my night. :o)

our seven

Josh and I will be together for seven years on Saturday. I still can't believe it. Our relationship has been through bumps, curves, bypasses, hills, while bypassing trees, rocks, floods, and fires. If that metaphor even makes any sense.

I know that without a doubt my husband deserves much better than me. He's a much better person than I could ever be {even though he doesn't think so himself}. He's my best friend and I owe him my world. Truly. When Josh and I got married {I was 20 & he was 24}. We started out in a bedroom for seven months. We didn't have a lot of money. I had health problems {lupus to be exact since I was 16 was later diagnosed with itp {immune thrombocytopenic purpura}. It's a platelet condition where my immune system fights them off {it's like my immune system is allergic to my platelets}. I had ended a job since I had gotten sick again. Went back to college and I am still trying to finish. I didn't think I'd find a guy who would love me despite my health stuff @ the time. And I did. God is so good.

In the last seven years to give you a short synopses.
Food allergies. Low platelets.

I ended up in the hospital because of a stomach virus mixed with food allergies {food allergies were tested and my body was literally rejecting food...i don't want to be too graphic on here..haha}. I collapsed on the floor at church while walking to leave to go to the hospital. My hubby called an ambulance.... And my platelets went so low. I didn't think I was going to live. I had 50% loss of fluids and your body is 75% water. I'll leave it up to you...What do you think? And no I've never had any type of eating disorder {even though this question has gotten old and so has the rumour going on since i was 12}. My kidney specialist replied, "you were a very sick girl. God is so good." Hospital doctor discharged me by saying, "We don't know what we did. Your body just decided to heal itself." I was 23 or 24. I can't remember. I know they said they made a mistake with my blood work the first time around. So I still wonder if i was really as sick as they thought..but my platelet count kept declining...so it had them concerned....But..

My husband stayed at my side the whole time... I begged him too, 'cos I was lonely...and he didn't have to stay...But he slept in my bed with me {like in "A Walk to Remember"}. Through thick and thin..right? Till death do us part? Through floods and helping his family when their house had flooded. We took them in. Through fires and taking in his family for nine months to help them through it when their house caught on fire. We even gave up our home for them. We thought it was just easier for us to leave since they all had health problems and we felt bad for them. And through his grandfather passing away. Through all the many family things on my side. My heart goes out to them. And through my many tears, through hurts, my failures, my struggles, and rejections. I love you, sweety. i don't know what i would do without you....and as sappy as this is.. i mean it with all my heart.

Just a day after my 26th birthday. I got new blood work done and my blood work and platelets have all gone back to normal. My food allergies are still there but it is much more manageable. God is wonderful! I couldn't be more thankful. And my platelets are stable {see links above}. :o)

So to our seven years my love. I love being with you... I can't wait to have seven more. I can't wait to come home! =)

second day of wppi. I woke up @ 8am my time, which for me feels like 11am. I got to see Jasmine Star's presentation and it made me tear up. Her business/marketing class was amazing. And on my first afternoon, I got to meet Lauren Clark & Millie Hollman. They are the nicest people ever.

My first night I won $20 in the 5 cent slot machines. I made back what I spent that day. It can't get better than that. =)

maybe you'll spot one of these...i should tell the story of how this was taken. i put my camera on a 10 sec timer...and ran and slipped. fell on my butt really hard. and slid my foot into my poor hubby {in the not so good area. ugh.} we were in pain....and was pleasantly surprised it doesn't show in this promo {it wasn't actually meant to be a promo, but}. i'm thrilled to pieces. hope you like it as much as we do. it came out better than we thought.

I finally got to posting my ring pictures... my husband gave me on February 1st for our five year wedding anniversary that was on December 18th. He came in, sat on the floor, while looking up at me and said, "Will you marry me, again for another 5 years?" I almost cried, looked up at him and smiled. I think I laughed and said, "Yes." While wrapping my arms around him. :]

It hasn't left my finger {except to take a shower.. haha} ...... including the old vintage engagement ring with my key & rope. =) Tomorrow is our six years and eleven months that we've been together. We had made a "time capsule" and we can't wait to see how much of what we wanted four and half years ago to happen has happened or not happened. It'll be fun to open and read through.

Emailed Bludomain (they are amazing) to fix my contact forms and html site. All is working now. I re-designed my splash page again. I was in the wrong color scheme before. But it's working in both browsers now. Yay!

So I am officially on a couple days "work" break. My husband will be nothing more than happy about that. And I am glad to be having some date nights with him.

We had soo much fun! And I don't like being in front of the camera. But with him... I had fun! I love him. I taught my husband how to shoot fully manual the other night. I just gave him pointers from where I was standing. He is naturally creative and artistic though.
